| Good Palliative Care Plans

Good Palliative Care Plan (GPCP) is a document to replace the use of Do Not Resuscitate
Orders in patient notes. The patient's Medical Practitioner, in consultation with
the dying patient, their family, and other health professionals completes it.
It is mainly used in aged care facilities for non competent patients and was endorsed
by DHS in June 2000 for this purpose.
