Education and Events Program 2016

Palliative Care SA hosts a number of educational forums and information sessions each year and we are pleased to advise the following program is now open and accepting registrations.  

Say it forward: Advance Care Directives is an informational session about the benefit of and how to complete an Advance Care Directive. Starting at 10.30am, the session is one hour in duration and concludes with refreshments and networking opportunity.

The PCSA Forums Program provides topic based presentations by local, national and international speakers. Starting at 5.30pm, forum presentations are followed by a Q&A and concludes at 7.30pm. Networking and refreshments are included.

Die-alogue Café community engagement program provides a pop-up café experience with death as the social topic of the morning. Held on Fridays from 10am, this is a facilitated discussion group where no questions about illness, dying death and grief are off limits.

These activities are free to attend however registration is requested and can be made online at (by clicking on the date on the events calendar on the home page).

PEPA provides an experiential learning opportunities through a clinical placement program. Backfill funding to cover your education leave or to reimburse income lost, and for rural participants travel and accommodation is provided.
