Palliative Care South Australia is a community based organisation. We welcome new members.
Membership provides an opportunity to work collaboratively on issues affecting the sector. It provides opportunity for peer support and joint approaches to Government and other bodies impacting on the sector and provides Health Care Professionals, clinical staff and the public with education, resources and networking opportunities. Membership provides access to:-
Education for increased ability and credibility
- Seminars, workshop and forums addressing the wider issues of palliative care.
- Free monthly Education for Palliation sessions – Improving residential aged care workforce awareness about palliative care for RACF staff.
Resources to add value to your facility
- Many resources, including ‘How to talk to patients about death and dying’, the extremely popular ‘A caregivers guide’ and our website www.pallcare.asn.au, providing sector news and information.

Networking opportunities to gain sector knowledge
- Learning and networking opportunities facilitated by PCCSA.
There are several categories of Membership with varying fees and benefits of membership:
- Individual members is $55.00
- Concessional membership $25.00
- Collective (organisational) for up to 10 members $200 plus $20 for each additional collective member after 10
- Corporate membership is $350
Supporting Palliative Care in South Australia continues to help us provide a common voice and encourage governments, health authorities, service providers and community groups to work together to ensure provision of appropriate care and services for people facing death and bereavement.
